Strengthening Health Education, Hamzanwadi University Establishes Strategic Collaboration with MSU Malaysia

Shah Alam, Malaysia – Hamzanwadi University has taken a strategic step to strengthen the development of its Faculty of Medicine and health sector by exploring collaboration with Management and Science University (MSU) Malaysia on Tuesday (July 14th). The meeting, chaired by the Rector of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Ir. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, M.Pd., focused on the development of education, research, innovation, and human resource capacity building in the health sector.

The Hamzanwadi University delegation was welcomed by MSU leadership to discuss various strategic partnership opportunities, particularly in the development of education, research, and innovation in the health sector. The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere, with the spirit of strengthening synergy between institutions.

Several collaborative agendas discussed included curriculum development, collaborative research, health service innovation, lecturer and student exchanges, international scientific publications, human resource capacity building, and the implementation of joint academic programs to improve the quality of health education.

The Rector of Hamzanwadi University stated that the partnership with MSU is an important step to support the strengthening of health study programs, including the development of the Hamzanwadi University Faculty of Medicine. He believes that international collaboration is essential for institutions to keep pace with the ever-evolving developments in science, medical technology, and healthcare practices.

"Through this collaboration, we hope to create a collaborative space that can improve the quality of education, research, and community service, while also broadening the academic experience for lecturers and students," he said.

The Director of Cooperation and International Relations at Hamzanwadi University, Moh. Farid Zaini, M.B.A., added that MSU is one of the leading universities in Malaysia with excellence in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and health sciences. The potential for collaboration is considered enormous, ranging from research, health innovation, academic mobility, to developing the competencies of the academic community.

During the visit, the Rector was accompanied by the Director of Cooperation and International Relations, Moh. Farid Zaini, M.B.A., the Director of Research and Community Service, Dr. Shahibul Ahyan, M.Pd., and the Hamzanwadi University delegation.

Through collaboration with MSU, Hamzanwadi University is further strengthening its internationalization efforts, particularly in improving the quality of education, research, and innovation in the health sector in order to produce competent, adaptive, and globally competitive graduates.
