Cyberjaya, Malaysia – Hamzanwadi University continues to expand its international network by strengthening collaborations with world-renowned universities. This time, the Rector of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Ir. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, M.Pd., and a delegation paid an official visit to Multimedia University (MMU) Malaysia on Tuesday (July 14th) to discuss collaboration opportunities in academics, research, innovation, and information technology development.

The Hamzanwadi University delegation was received by MMU leadership in a warm atmosphere. The meeting discussed various strategic collaboration opportunities that are expected to have a tangible impact on the development of both institutions.

The focus of the discussions included academic program development, collaborative research implementation, technology-based innovation, lecturer and student exchanges, international seminars, joint scientific publications, and strengthening a digital learning ecosystem that adapts to developments in information technology.

The Rector of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, stated that the partnership with MMU is a strategic step in strengthening digital transformation within Hamzanwadi University.

"The development of information technology has changed the face of higher education. Therefore, we want to build a collaboration with MMU, one of the leading universities in the technology sector, so we can share experiences, develop innovations, and improve the quality of education relevant to future needs," he said.

According to him, international collaboration not only expands institutional networks but also opens opportunities for lecturers and students to collaborate on research, innovation, and develop global competencies in the era of digital transformation.

The Director of Cooperation and International Relations at Hamzanwadi University, Moh. Farid Zaini, M.B.A., added that MMU's strengths in digital technology, artificial intelligence, multimedia, and industrial innovation are highly relevant to Hamzanwadi University's development direction.

"We hope this collaboration can be realized in various concrete programs, ranging from joint research, academic exchanges, to the development of information technology-based innovations that benefit both institutions," he explained.

Accompanying the Rector on the visit were the Director of Cooperation and International Relations, Moh. Farid Zaini, M.B.A., and the Director of Research and Community Service, Dr. Shahibul Ahyan, M.Pd., and a delegation from Hamzanwadi University.

The collaboration with Multimedia University is part of Hamzanwadi University's commitment to accelerating the campus' internationalization while strengthening its academic, research, and technology-based innovation capacity toward a superior and globally competitive university.
