Pancor - In an effort to strengthen character education while creating a safe and violence-free learning environment, the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education (Satgas PPKPT) of Hamzanwadi University served as a resource person at the MATAMUDA 2026 event at MTs Mu'allimin and MTs Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor on Wednesday (July 15, 2026).

Through the theme "Character Education and Stopping Bullying," the Task Force provided new male and female students with an understanding of various forms of bullying, their impact on victims, and the importance of fostering a culture of mutual respect, appreciation, and care for others from an early age. This activity also serves as part of the implementation of Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 55 of 2024 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Educational Units.

On this occasion, participants were also introduced to the role of the Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK) in school environments as the vanguard in creating safe and comfortable educational units. Furthermore, the values of empathy, caring, and good morals are emphasized as essential foundations for building healthy relationships within the madrasah environment.

Through the synergy between Hamzanwadi University and educational institutions, it is hoped that a shared awareness will grow to create an inclusive, welcoming, and violence-free learning environment. Thus, schools will not only be places to gain knowledge, but also safe spaces for each student to develop, feel valued, and develop strong character.
